Get ready, Santa’s Steam Express is returning to the Alberni Pacific Railway!
Join us for a festive family adventure aboard our heritage train pulled by the No. 7 Steam Locomotive, as we welcome the holiday season with twinkling lights, billowing steam, and a special visit from Santa himself.
This event runs over three magical weekends in December, with both night trains and day trains available!

Trains depart the Port Alberni Train Station (3100 Kingsway Ave, Port Alberni).
Please arrive at least 25 minutes prior to departure and check in with the ticket agent.

Pets are not permitted on the train during this event.

This excursion is a 40-minute Round Trip, returning to the Port Alberni Train Station.
Please arrive 25 minutes prior to departure and check in with the ticket agents.

Pet Policy:
As our Christmas Trains usually sell out, pets (other than designated service animals) are not permitted on the train during this event.
